Project 1
The first assignment requires students to romanticize a
paddy field and then translate it into an poetic narrative that will be transformed into a standalone structure. Given an imaginary site in the middle of a paddy field, students are tasked to design a structure that is semi-open with a concentric or linear organization, and not forgetting to apply two to three Modifying Elements of Architecture
Final Outcome
In a nutshell, I've learned how to put meaning and romanticize a seemingly dull and simple paddy field through poetic architecture with the aid of modifying elements. Besides that, I've also learned to craft spatial experiences by taking itn account of the contextual conditions, considerations human
scale, natural light, materiality, and textures.
