Tectonics
This project aims to develop an awareness of anthropometry and ergonomics by relating it to form and space through tectonic installation and the understanding of material, structure, architecture design elements and principles.
With the understanding and knowledge acquired on architecture design elements and principles, design development and form transformation from Project 1, we are tasked to create an isolation structure that reflects and expresses our personal experiences during the pandemic period.

In conclusion, I've learnt to relate the idea of the ‘self’, body’ and 'mind' to develop and design a space. At the and of the project, I've also had a better understanding on the importance of materiality and structure during a construction and design process.

Drawings & Final Model
During the pandemic period, I've always had an urge to go out of house and take a look on what is happening around my surroundings. Hence, my selected banal movement is to sit while observing the outside world. With that I intend to create an isolation structure that will help me enjoy and observe nature through the understanding of tectonics.

Taking inspiration from the part 6 model of project 1, the design of the isolation structure is influenced from the triangle elements and the stacking method which was applied during the making of that model. The design principles that I chose to go for was rhythm, contrast and movement.
